Wanderer Group: Members Posts: 15 Joined: 18-March 07 Member No.: 44336	Hoping someone could give me some tips on traveling to Vanuatu, Tonga, West Samoa, and Fiji. I am mostly looking for names of backpacker hostels or cheap places to stay and more specifically, places that cater to surfers. Also interested if anybody has any general knowledge or advice to offer to someone who has never traveled to these places. Thanks.

She speaks the langauge to others from Tonga. With a huge family here and in Tonga she knows her stuff as her mom just got back. Islanders always know about other Islands. They have Family and freinds there. Islanders move islands. What do you want to know?

If you wold like to go to outer islands try The yasawas, this is where lots of backpackers resorts are located. I would recommend Kim's Place, Bayside Resort, Nabua Lodge and Coconut Bay. There is a website, you can check-out where they have most of the backpacker resorts in Fiji. Wanderer Group: Members Posts: 15 Joined: 18-March 07 Member No.: 44336	Been in Tassie for just under 4 weeks now. Heading to Fiji in November. Got my first surf in a couple days ago. Thanks for the Fiji tips. Definitely cannot afford to stay anywhere too fancy. Would prefer to head to Samoa or Tona for surf though, but can't seem to find any backpacker/hostel type accomodation online. It would probably be easier just to get there first and then find accomodation but I was just trying to get an idea of what was offered before I get there. Thanks for the help and any other recommendations anyone has would be greatly appreciated.
