There are many places to visit across this world but there are none like right here. Townsend, Tn. has one of the best entrances to the Smoky Mountain National Park. There are hotels like Riverstone Lodge right at the entrance. From Townsend, Cades Cove is one of the most visited Parks in the United States and for a really good reason. Mountain views, Cabins and churches dated back from the1800's. It is full of wildlife, deer, black bears, turkey, wild hogs and much, much more. The fall with leaves of every color are pasted over the mountains, to snow capped mountains in the winter. If your looking for the best, (this is it) You have got to visit this place. Make sure you check out Bluegrass Bands at the historic Riverstone Lodge on weekends and their large deck with camp fires every night. Townsend is considered "the Peaceful Side of the Smokies" Relaxing and inexpesive and just full of outdoor things to see and do. Mountain views, Rivers full of trout, Hiking, waterfalls, Wildlife and just so much to enjoy.
