What is your ultimate roadtrip and where?

For me it would have to be around North America then onto Europe by motorbike. So visiting America, Canada, England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Germany, Switzerland, France, Austria, Italy, Spain, Norway, Finland, Sweden, Holland, Czech, Poland, and any others that I decide to stop over in.

Stopping along the when ever I get a chance.

Ha! That's a crazy trip!

I'd like to motorcycle around anywhere, EXCEPT maybe not in Asia... yet... I'd have to get really good at motorcycling before I attempted that.

Driving in the Aussie outback was unreal... I think if I'd managed to take in the West of Australia, Tassie, and New Zealand aswell that would probably be my ultimate roadtrip.

It's a dream of mine to go from Alaska to Ushuaia, finishing in Brazil somewhere.. Probably in a car, not a motorbike tongue.gif But that's a long way off. Would LOVE to take on Australia and possibly Japan too!

Whoah... you want to do part of this next summer? I want to go from Seattle south, and I think seal wants to come along as well, don't you?

We can be persuaded to do it in a car...

Everything sounds fun about that except crossing the Darien Gap in Panama into Colombia

Some day I want to drive across the U.S. I've never done it, and would really like to. There are still many parts of the country I haven't seen and a roadtrip is a great way to do it.

One of these days...

Kit seriously, next year, meet me in Seattle and we'll drive south back to your place!

I just looked up the price of a Greyhound Discovery 30 day pass... it's CDN$ 399

It's not a car or motorcycle....but... if a bunch of us split a rental car... it would probably be about the same price.... maybe more depending on the price of gas.

Well you are still invited anyway... you mean like, diagonally? The mid-west is pretty cool, but not that exciting.

Well, I'm not sure really how I would go. Perhaps across to the south one way and across to the north coming back or something. ???

I need to read your roadtrip post to see where you are at with it...I would love to join you, but I imagine it would be difficult for me to do so (kids and all). Plus we are planning on being out of the country July through Oct next year...so I'm hoping you're not coming then, because I at least want to be able to see you!!!
