Bali was very famous in the world, culture, nature mountain, beaches
To stay in Bali it is not enough if only focused on the south example : Kuta, Jumbaran, Nusa Dua, Sanur
Kuta area we do not like it, we have never found if in Kuta as real Bali, only the traffic, pollutions, buildings, artshops, crowded peoples., so what the tourist are looking in Kuta around? only to spend time for Bar and discoteque, Kuta beach also crowded, in 4km around kuta we spend 30 minute to drives. all the beaches in Bali are beautiful, other places Jimbaran, and Sanur are preferabl, Kuta area Non!!!

Thanks for those ideas! It's definitely a good idea to get off the beaten track in Bali, I think.

That's right. Kuta is way too commercialized and for everyone's information - KUTA IS NOT THE CAPITAL OF BALI!

I do recommend you to visit Nusa Lembongan, Dreamland Uluwatu and Jimbaran for a great trip to the beaches. I HIGHLY recommend everyone to visit Ubud, Uluwatu and the likes too. Bali is not all about beaches.

well, i must admit, i do not like kuta either. it is to crowd and there are just bar and discoteque. i do have visited Tanah Lot Temple n that's one of my fav place.

So, i always plan to visit there each times i go to Bali.
