Times have changed since people would keep the same job their whole lives.

Some jobs I dabbled in were fitness instructor, photographer, and office manager but my first real job was delivering rental receipts for the condo complex I lived in when I was 9 years old.

What hats have you worn in your life to earn money?

Well, at the moment I'm a writer and a yoga instructor. Quite a nice lifestyle! smile.gif

In the past I've worked at universities, in a CD store, for the RCMP and for the government of Canada!

It's hardly worth me posting... because all I can say is:

I've been there and done IT.

Yes, that's right: ASP, VB, HTML, CSS, PHP. Perl, .NET, JS, C... I am an IT geek through and through, and have not done a single other job of any interest or merit no.gif

The only benefit to this dullness is that it's highly compatible with travel dance3.gif

Wow...you are fluent in the language of computers. That is a very skill in this day and age. Pretty transferable skill!

I bet you have other "skills" you are not telling us about...maybe you just haven't been paid for them yet.

That's exactly what I'm trying to get into now but it's bloody hard. Once I've got a couple of years experience under my belt I'll be sorted!

That said I'm temping until someone will give me my chance to shine in the IT world so I'm off to play video games for EA tomorrow tongue.gif

Carm,

I worked for the RCMP in high school doing counter narcotics stuff. It was a pretty sweet job. Although it sounds more glamourous than it was. haha.

I didn't realize we had actual television stars on this forum - LYRIC! smile.gif Where can we find these wonderful shows to watch?

I might have a very interesting job coming up soon, but I can't say anything until it's for sure - but I think it might be the strangest on on this list.......

Yeah - we got to eat the pies for lunch - but I don't think "pie" means the same thing in Australia as it does in North America.

What is the writing gig?
