This morning is starting off much better.

I still have to finish the school assignments, but my editors said it was fine to pass them in today. I've been updating some of my older blogs, and my cat is curled up next to me =)

After so many days and nights that we are in Athens after the operation my husband had on his knee, and spending 9 dreadful nights in hospital, we came to our flat and we are staying here until the knee recovers completely.
Well, it was the first night I got some descent sleep and I can say I slept for 3 hours continuously without having to get up every half an hour.Sleep is so important afterall! So my mood is better this morning and I already feel much better than other days!

Mixed emotions today. My grandfather is quite sick right now, so that is extremely stressful. I have to move back into my dorm tomorrow, and while I'm excited to see my floor again, I'm sad about the end of my freshman year approaching and about having to do homework again. However, I had a good spring break including a few days of skiing (potential blog post?) and awesome food. I also watched plenty of movies and films and caught up on some reading.

I wish your loving grandfaher a fast recovery first of all. Secondly, I believe with your studies you won't stop participating in the forums ... it is so nice seeing you out here.

I am excited this morning. It is the day I expected for days to come because I am cooking different meals and I am waiting our children to come and have lunch with us in a few hours from now. Our grandchildren are adorable and I have missed them so much. It was two weeks ago since they last came to visit us. Their smily faces give us hope.....

Popi - thank you for the good wishes! We all hope he'll be back in good health very soon.

Today I feel okay. Lots of homework, and quite tired, but it was great to see my college friends again!

It is my turn now to pray for a fast recovery for a dear Aunt of mine so I am quite down. She had a serious operation that lasted 8 hours and she is very weak still in the clinic....and the cost has already exceeded the 34.000 euro!!
Still very cold and windy....it is as if we have January here, but the good news is that it will be truly SPRING as from tomorrow. I cannot wait!!

I hope your aunt gets better very soon!

Besides exhaustion from getting up early to interview a few butcher shops (yay magazine class), I'm in a decent mood. It's too warm for spring but the temperature does feel quite nice. I'm quite stressed about the ten page research paper I have due in two days though >.<

Thank you for the wishes she is back home by now recovering!

Feeling good this morning with 22 degrees outside I was out early to get to the centre of Athens on foot (2 kms from our flat).
I have an appointment with another optician...hope he will be the last!

I'm quite exhausted - I was up until 3AM writing a thesis draft, and today I have a club meeting and an article to write for my magazine class (due tomorrow). I'm a bit nervous because also have to do a job interview on Thursday and I'm not the best at those. I'm just very busy right now, all the way through Sunday.

However, I am greatly looking forward to my nap after classes today, and also the fact that, for better or for worse, I don't have to think about my paper until I get this draft back!

Oh! A BIG day today.... yes.gif We are back home in Evia after a month and 3 days.
Yianni's operation on the knee has gone well, and we finally made it back home. I can sleep well tonight in our huge bed, be in the countryside and just 400 metres of the sea! party.gif crying_anim02.gif
The garden was in full blossom. It is funny that when we left it was winter with very low temperatures reaching the 3 degrees below zero, and today it is 23 degrees and a wonderful day... beach.gif
I am glad that I am back to my normal computer since all this time I was doing all my work from my very small laptop. download.gif

Organizing some coming trips is something else that really excites me. yes.gif

All of that sounds so beautiful and relaxing!

I'm quite stressed about all the school work and club work I have to do this week, and dealing with class selection when I have no idea what I want to do. But I've got a few hours of buffer time today before I really have to deal with anything, plus my Quidditch league is having Harry Potter movie night tonight!

I am anxious to watch the football match between Cyprus and Spain tonight. I am very much Cypriot when it comes to games played with a foreign nation.
I don't believe anyone out there in Cyprus will be doing something else other than watching this football match. It is "Real Madrid with Apoel"

I have been having 2 weeks of moving from one city to the other....I cannot complain and I can say it was fun. I can't wait to write about this trip soon, but I also look forward to returning home.
I had been swimming earlier, and just finished an amazing spa treatment. I am ready to get down as it is the night of wine tasting and a bit later I am going to enjoy the last dinner of the trip. (Hot Seafood Platter) ....for which I cannot wait of course!

How can a mood be so good - referring to envoy2050, when you are tired and you have much work?

I am happy because I have our son and his wife from Qatar at home for a few days as they are on holidays, and we also have one of our grandchildren. Life is beautiful with children and loving people around...

Hi Paula, welcome back. It is nice that from time to time you drop by. Remember the good old days when this place out here was so busy? You are lucky to feel so great.

Now about my own mood….. hyper.gif crying_anim.gif

Well, I am home this morning -did not get to the beach like other mornings since it is windy,- probably it is an excuse, but still even if I were at the beach the situation is not that good with what is happening throughout Europe and this does not make me happy at all.
I cannot be that happy any more or carefree as in the past unfortunately if I am not sure what is going to happen in the coming years and future. I am alert and ready to expect the worse!

I travel less lately, but of course I cannot complain because other people cannot travel at all. I have food at home while others are out begging for the daily needs. I am thankful but not happy at all and the worst of all is that I see this happening throughout the world.
I am not pessimist but this is reality and things show!

Yeah I remember when this forum used to buzz - long time ago now I guess.

Aaaaw Popi, sorry to hear your mood is not so good. The only thing you can do is take each day as it comes and live for today. I recently got waaaaay too tied up in what the future might bring or hold (it happens from time to time) and over the last week I've given myself another reminder of how that never works. Each day is a new opportunity to let go and start again - the path you should take will ALWAYS become clear when the time is right and not before. hug.gif

I had no idea that you are writing a novel Gerre....

I feel a bit better today, I was out at the beach swimming at 7.30 a.m Swimming always relaxes me and I feel so energetic afterwards. I swim the whole cove for hours -up and down and exercise and when I feel that I have done enough I approch the different groups of friends -I know nearly all, and chat for a while before I get out. Today I was out 10.15 .
