Everyone loves lists. Here is your chance to contribute to the ultimate! Post your ideas for TravelPod's Official Top 100 Things to Do Before You Die list.

It can be as simple as eating a food you have never tried...or climbing a mountain or learning a new language. There is nothing to big or too small and all suggestions are welcome. If you could be sure you would achieve it, what would you attempt? With the combined intelligence we have around here, we should be able to come up with quite the compilation!

So....what is your dream?hyper.gif

hmmmm....these kinds of questions automatically make a million things start rushing through my head. I usually find it's better to go with the gut feeling, the one answer that first pops in your head, and the one that keeps revolving after five minutes of trying to come up with another one. So I'm gonna go with the one I can't shake:

Write an inspirational, unforgettable book.

I did mine while I was in Japan a few years ago. Climb a mountain, (it was one of the smaller ones for us.. you know the kind that has benches and vending machines at the top?), one evening and stay there all night with a couple of your closest friends and watch the sun rise in the morning.

Amazing feeling.

I want the chance to live in another country for at least a couple of years. Preferably somewhere completely alien to life in the UK. Thinking China at the moment but thats not gonna happen for a good few years yet, well unless I suddenly come into a serious amount of money or get an amazing job offer (which isn't going to happen:( )

Meet the Dalai Lama. Go back to the wild with the animals. Have children. Live in Asia somewhere. Overcome my fears. Accept my weaknesses. Have a good relationship with my mum. Learn Aikedo. Find true inner peace. Learn how to fly a plane. Parasail. Dive the Great Barrier Reef. See Bob Dylan live...and and and.......

It's kind of a nice feeling when you see that you've done some of the things other people want to do.

My current big one is Run A Marathon (Dublin 2007).

Also, it seems to naff to say but...Get Married and Have Kids.

I know! I love seeing other people's lists. (Hence my addiction to the 43things website.) It's also fun to be inspired by others lists as well. I think everyone should make their own list. My list (here's a link to it) is a little long, but here's a few of mine that I've yet to accomplish.

- Watch the sun rise from the middle of the ocean
- see a wild tiger
- smell the sweetest flower
- help/volunteer at an elephant sancutary
- learn to surf
- grow a tree
- Fly in a bi-plane
- visit a nude beach

So many of you have done so much! Consider me inspired. It would be a crime not to aim for a long term round the world adventure. My current situation does not allow for more than short excursions, but it would be great to try something more involved. Even to work in another country for awhile. I would love to see Scotland, or be in Ireland for St. Paddys! I bet there aren't too many kiss me I'm Irish T-shirts there?

I've been thinking about this one for a while, about what I've done and what I'd love to do. There are still far too many things and I wonder sometimes whether there are enough years left.

For me, for now, diving in Antarctica. Now that would be mindblowing..

Ahhh how could I not metione it before: Belly dance in Morroco with a tribe of women while the drummer plays the best he has ever played. I just see it, candelabro in my head, sanke close by to put it on my hips when the time to shimmey comes, my shinny coin belt, my long skirt, and my favorite belly dance top,

YALA!!!!!

Kati, this is one of the best yet! I have to admit that the Northern Lights (as we call them here in Canada) have to be my favorite thing to experience. There is nothing that comes even close. It is magical and mystical and spiritual and beautiful and inspiring.
