I had a look at Thai Air and they have a cheap deal to Chittagong in Bangers but most of the cheap airlines fly to Bangalore, sorry Bengaluru as its now called. There may be a cheap flight going to Kolkata as it's the closest major city in India to Thailand. -------------------- My Travelogue Rich

Direct flights you're looking at around $500 unless you can find a deal somewhere. Thai Airlines is the cheapest on Kayak.com at £386 return. List of Low Cost Airlines I'm sure if you have a look around those airlines you can find a cheap deal. -------------------- My Travelogue Rich

Years ago when I was first thinking about moving here, one of the many reasons was that flights to Nepal were cheap - I had always wanted to get to Nepal. Bugger. My friend, a travel agent got back to me with these prices: I am still looking around. 19850Baht with Thai 16800Baht with Bangladesh
