Definitely up for TP representation! Although I don't have a water bottle yet.. If I got sent one, it's probably at my dads and I'll get it sent up when I get to Scotland tongue.gif

So, where are we going on our Scotland adventuring? biggrin.gif

Ooh, you're pushing my Scotland knowledge here! I reckon we climb Ben Nevis tongue.gif And we should go to John O'Groats, just because... other than that Kathryn will look after us!

Louise... really? That would be lovely of you, what sizes do you have?

I've been to Ben Nevis, but never climbed it....but I've never climbed any mountain...so not sure about that, and especially coming into winter?

Hmmmmm....but PAULA!!! Whatever we do, come up for it for sure! And feel free to bring John, the more the merrier smile.gif

Louise, that's so LOVELY of you about the T's! I'll plan this perfectly!! I'm so excited!! hyper.gif

Let me know what you all decide to do as I'm not too good at pub type things. It'll be excellent for you all to meet up though frantics.gif

You are right about it going into winter, but if anyone fancies the Ben Nevis thing next spring/summer - I'm defo up for it!! hyper.gif

Yeah maybe mountain climbing in the winter isn't THE best of ideas.. tongue.gif Spring sounds pretty good though, the weather's not usually too crap around then. And if we're going to John O'Groats, Aberdeen could be a great pit stop area! biggrin.gif It's like halfway there lol. But yes, that is one of the places I want to see during my time in Scotland smile.gif

And yay for more people! Definitely the more the merrier..

And thank you Louise! That is so awesome of you smile.gif We will definitely be having a meetup party when we get this together tongue.gif

Oh, figured this may be of help as a general reference..

We all know each other through the forum.. but yeah we're all pretty cool smile.gif And when do you turn 18? As far as I was aware 16 and 17 year olds could legally drink in the UK if accompanied with someone 18+, do they straight up ID for pubs now? :S

I think thats only if you're having a meal.

From my experience most places only ID on the door on a Friday/Saturday night, some places will ID at the bar, and some don't ID at all - depends on the place I guess.

Hmm.. makes sense I guess! I didn't have many opportunities to drink in public in the UK before turning 18 so it always confused me..

I hate that - that used to happen to me all the time as all my friends were older than me and could legally get in places, and I didn't even want to drink anyway, grrrrrrh.

Anyway, noooooo, don't worry, we can meet anywhere, I'm not fussed about going to a pub or anything, I'd rather be outdoors tbh (altho I might be underestimating the Scottish cold a bit there...!!)
