I live in Aberdeen, Scotland and have three days to travel before I head back home for the Holiday. Where in Europe should I go? I'm looking for an affordable city that won't leave my pockets empty. I'd like to go somewhere that I haven't visited. I've traveled to the following cities already: PARIS, LONDON, AMSTERDAM, VIENNA, MUNICH, FRANKFURT, BAVARIA, LUCERNE, FLORENCE, ROME, SALZBURG, ROME, ST.GOAR, ZURICH, INSBRUCK, HIEDELBERG, TYROL and LAUTABRUNNEN. Any suggestions for cities and hostels? Cheers!

PRAGUE comes to mind as a possibility. I've never been there but one of my best mates just told me it would be in his top 3 cities in the world. I've heard nothing but good things about it.

I would reccomend Belgrade, still untouched, mysterious and beautiful, and safe. There is another Scot there making a film about the city. If you need guidence and like to meet and interact with the local people you can email anberin@gmail.com to help you. She is in film documentary, her profile is on the web if you google her name.

Prague was the first thing that pop in my mind too. My cousin just came back from there and she sais that it's beautiful and really cheap!!

I adore Antwerp and I highly recommend it for a two or three day visit. It's modern and thriving, with alot going on. It's bite-size and easy to get around. I've posted as a travelogue an article I wrote about Antwerp for you to check out. http://images.travelpod.com/first-travelog...ticle/tpod.html Have fun wherever you go!

Antwerp is lovely, but I prefer Ghent. There are loads of little places all over Europe. You have a big problem here. Instead of Prague, I would go to Krakow. Far less tourists, a little smaller and much nicer. Great place as well. You could always try Grenada for the Alhambra. I am going there soon and can't wait. Or the South of France around Nimes, Arles, Orange or Avignon is nice as well. Loads of things to do and see. The Palais des Papes in Avignon is superb. You could use any of the places as a base and explore

Thats my 2 cents worth

Enjoy
