There are plenty of interesting things to see in South America some of them are just a location, or a whole city. Here are some of those amazing places

Cathedral Salt in Colombia
Machu Pichi in Peru
Nazca Lines in Peru
Iguazu Falls Argentina
Christ de Redeemer in Rio de Janeiro
Puero Mont in Chile
Salir de uyini in Bolivia

Caro!

One of the best sights I saw while travelling through South America was a Church in a gorge very close to the border between Colombia and Equador. There was an image of the virgin Mary on the rockface in the gorge so they built a church there, with the rockface as part of the alter. The whole area is amazing.

I'd tell you the name and show a pic but this internet cafe computer says that "adult filter has blocked this site" for my weblog. I gotta stop using dirty words in my titles I guess. At least it doesn't just close windows like some of the content filters do.

IŽd add Angel Falls in Venezuela to that list - spectacular in the rainy season!

I would add:

San Pedro de Atacama desert in Northern Chile
Torres del Paine in Southern Chile
Laguna Verde (Green Lagoon pictured below) in Bolivia
Perito Moreno Glaciers in Southern Argentina
Colonia del Sacramento in Uruguay

All such beautiful places!! To see my experiences in these South American wonders, check out my blog: Judith's Travel Blog

may I add the whole Quebrada de Humahuaca in Argentina? and more specifically, the lovely town of Purmamarca, at the feet of the Seven Colours Hill.

The different layers of coulours on the mountains, the huge cactus, the incredibly friendly people...I just love that place!
