My entries are going to soon start taking up too much memory on my iPhone (and eventually my iPad). Is there a way that I can remove them from the app without deleting them from the actual blog? I've noticed on the iPhone that if I've made an entry on the website, there is a little cloud symbol that will download the new entry to my iPhone only if I choose to, but once downloaded it appears to be permanently loaded in the app.

Hoping there is an easier way that does not involve deleting reinstalling the app, because that will get really annoying the more I travel and add photos.

Actually, deleting and reinstalling the app is in fact what I was going to suggest (make sure your entries have synched first).
We will definitely consider making it possible to remove locally saved entries without deleting them from the app. However, for now reinstalling is the only option.
Doing so will definitely free up space until you download the entries by tapping on the cloud icon, and you shouldn't need to do this often.
Thank you for your suggestion and we'll see if we can get that feature into a future update.

Okay, thanks for the reply. As I think about it, it's not really a huge deal to reinstall because I won't have to do it that often, maybe once a year, and I don't often have to download old items.

But, if it does get into a future release, that would be great. Thanks.
