Hi everyone!

I've been using travelpod for almost two years, but I've never used the forums before. I'm not sure why, I guess when I'm on the road I just spend all my time writing!

First and foremost, as if it hasn't been said a thousand times before, I've just got to say that this site is AMAZING! Good for us to keep a record of our travels, good for our family and friends to see what we're up to, and good for all web uses to read about people's travels!

I've recently spent nearly a year working in Cambodia, and travelled extensively throughout South East Asia. I think I can safely say there is no more comprehensive travelblog about Cambodia on the web smile.gif

I'm travelling to Eastern Europe in two weeks following a forced break from my travels due to illness. So I thought now would be a good time to introduce myself, before I get back to doing what I love; travelling and writing!

Will

Hi Will

Is it possible you could answer a question that has popped up in this Post. I met a guy in PP in April who said that it is better to have a CELTA than a TEFL. WOuld you be able to help out please.

Also, where are you going to go in Eastern Europe

No worries, I've sent a reply to that post. CELTA is definitely the way to go. As a minimum qualification in English language teaching, it's the best, no questions about it.

I'm going to do quite a lot of travel in Eastern Europe, but I'll be based in Southern Poland. I'll be working in a small city called Opole, just a few hours from Krakow, but I think I'll be doing a bit of work all around the region.

I've only spent a week in Germany and a week in London in the past, so the thought of spending a few months living in a place just a few hours from Prague, Vienna, Budapest, Berlin, Krakow, and the Tatra mountains is quite appealing smile.gif

Thanks for your help on that Will and welcome to the forums, it'll be good having you around from time to time.

Good luck in Europe!

Eastern Europe is not as cheap as it use to be. Poland is great. Loved Krakoz. Far better than Warsaw, but get out into the backwaters. You will love it
