Hi all I'm planning to go to Entebbe, Uganda this weekend. I do have a place to stay, but have little clue as to where to go and what to see. I've heard about Lake Victoria, origin of Nile, Entebbe Zoo and the equator. Suggestions please. What should be my priorities and what i should see. I'll be reaching Entebbe on 14th August Friday, and departing on 17th morning. A quick response would be much appreciated. I just joined this site while i was looking for travelling information, so don't come down too hard on me for posting this topic at the nick of the time...

I just joined this site while i was looking for travelling information, so don't come down too hard on me for posting this topic at the nick of the time... Day one, visit to the chimpanzees’ island! After a short briefing by your guide, you will be driven to the shores of Lake Victoria to meet your 9.00am launch. The boat takes about 45 minutes across to Ngamba Island, C Depending on time of arrival, a choice of activities on Ngamba - feeding the chimpanzees, or bird watching. Dinner and overnight stay at Ngamba Island Camp. (FB). Day two,Visit the Source of the Nile, You will depart from Kampala for a whole day exploration at Jinja. You will head East passing coffee, Tea and Sugar plantations and the colorful roadside fruit/vegetable markets. The first stopover will be Mabira Forest; here you will be able to see the primates, birds and butterflies. You will continue to the source of the Nile. This famous and popular site was formerly Rippon Falls. The monument to the 19th century explorer, Speke, the first European to set eyes on the site in 1862, is three kilometres off Nalufenya Road. Afternoon Trips (Bujagali Falls ) This afternoon, you will rest, later transfer go to Bujagali Falls where different cultural activities take place like Acrobatic, jerrycan swimmers, traditional Dances, waterfalls etc. Day three, Dapart to Entebbe for your flight. You can contact weblink for help. Nice trip, Imelda

Hello traveller, i wonder whether you have been helped!!! Have you got a clue already about what you will see on your short trip to Entebbe? Cheers, imelda. Hi Thanks for the advice. So, how do i contact the tour operators? What tours can i get from Entebbe? I'm only interested in day trips, or at the maximum, tours that end in the night, not involving overnight stay. Looking forward for further help. Thanks again Hello Traveller, There is this option to Queen Elizabeth National Park for 2 days. Its somehow not easy to travel to this park to enjoy the itinerary activities in one day. This park is 432km from Entebbe. But for your consideration we have arranged for you a two days tour to Queen Elizabeth 2 days tour to Queen ElizabethSartuday morning-Day One: Drive to Queen Elizabeth and boat launch. Wake up early in the morning before six o'clock, drive Southwest to Queen Elizabeth National Park. The drive will take you along Masaka Mbarara road to stop at the Equator for photographs and then proceed to stop in Mbarara for lunch and then drive to reach the park in the afternoon. You will go for a boat launch along Kazinga channel that connects lakes George and Edward and this will reward you with game like Hippos, elephants and buffaloes at the shores not forgetting plenty of birds.Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge/Jacana Lodge/Mweya Hostel. Sunday morning- Day Two: Game drive / Depart to Kampala Wake up before sunrise to a cup of tea or a glass of water and then set off to the park tracks for a game drive to be able to see predators as they retune to their hide outs and the early risers. During the drive watch out for game like the Leopards, Lions, giant forest hogs, hyenas, Uganda kobs, warthogs and others. In the afternoon you will drive back to Kampala with a stop over to Mbarara for lunch to reach in the evening. You have two options, either to go to Queen Elizabeth two days, or to Ngamba island and Source of the Nile plus Bujaggali falls. We are a tour firm and ready to assist you. Let me know your preference., Kind Regards, Imelda.

Take a priority to Ngamba island one day tour from entebbe or Trip to source of the Nile and bujagali one day trip or you could round up Ngamba Island half day, and source of the Nile plus bujagali half day trip and back to Entebbe for your flight. Please let us know so that we can arrange for you bookings. Nice trip to Uganda, Cheers ( weblink Cheers Imelda
Hello Traveller, how was your last trip to entebbe? Was your trip interesting? Regards, Imelda.
Hi Imelda My trip to Entebbe was amazing, and i sincerely hope it wasn't the last one... Actually, my friends who went with me were not interested in safari/nature tours so we restricted ourselves to Entebbe and Kampala. I think now i can plan a better visit to Uganda next time. Hopefully it will be soon. However, i do find your charges a bit too much. That's not the information i got from the locals there. I think i'll plan my next visit well in time to chalk out a good programme. Thanks for the help. Take care.

Hope next time when you plan it will not be so urgent like before. When you plan in advance ahead of time it gives the operator time to negotiate the costs something which did not happen to your urgent trip and also to give you an itinerary that suits your interests. Further still i thought you were a single traveler otherwise if you had informed me that you were more than one Person of course i would have given you a cheaper cost. Lets see what your next trip soon has to offer we are ready to assist you. Cheers!! Imelda.
