Hi, I am unable to share on facebook. The tick box is shaded and i can't use it and a circle goes round all the time. Is there something I need to do on facebook or on travelpod? Many thanks for yr help.

We had a problem connecting to Facebook for a short time. The problem is now resolved, but if you continue to have problems connecting please let me know.

Still not able to share or sign in using facebook.

It may be helpful to quit the app entirely and start it again:

-Tap on the large button on your device to get to the Home Screen.
-Double tap the large button to bring up the recent apps list.
-Tap and hold on the TravelPod icon until you see the red delete circles on the icons.
-Tap the red delete circle on the TravelPod app icon.
-Then restart the TravelPod app and try logging in with Facebook.

Please let me know if that does not resolve the problem.

Sharing on Facebook:

On the web dashboard, when viewing your list of entries, you'll see the "Share" links for each entry, or when editing an entry click the Share menu item. You'll see the option to share on Facebook, which will post a link to that entry on your Facebook timeline.

In the mobile iOS app, on an entry screen, tap the upper right icon and tap on the "Share on Facebook" button. You may be asked to sign in to Facebook if you haven't already.

Hi Fraser,

I am using a netbook, not an app. device. Have tried using the share links, but it just buffers continually still. Any more thoughts?

Are you able to sign in top TravelPod using Facebook? This may help with the sharing process.
If not, when you click the checkbox next "Share with your Facebook friends", do you see a popup window in addition to the spinning icon? If you are not previously logged in to TravelPod via Facebook, a popup window should display allowing you to type in your Facebook login. If you don't get that popup (and have not used Facebook to sign in to TravelPod) then you should check to see if your browser is blocking popups, or hiding the popup behind the current window.

Tried pop-ups etc and finally found it was adblocker causing the problem. Turned that off for this page and it worked fine.

I can't share on Facebook either. That option appears but I can't click on the box. I'm using a PC running Windows 7 and Firefox. I saw the comment about logging into Travelpod from Facebook. I killed my Travelpod window and opened a Facebook window but I couldn't figure out how to get to Travelpod from Facebook. I re-opened my Travelpod window and it still has the same problem.

Next, Sign in again at Travelpod.com, but this time click on the Sign In With Facebook button. This should let you sign in with your Facebook account and will link your TravelPod account with your Facebook account.
Return to the entry and see if you can share via Facebook.

I can use the Sign In With Facebook button in Internet Explorer and when I do I can share with Facebook. However, I can't use that option with Firefox. I get the Loading Facebook... message and the thing going in circles.
