Cool restaurants in Shanghai?

Newbie Group: Members Posts: 3 Joined: 28-July 09 Member No.: 291073	I will be in Shanghai for a few weeks. Haven't been there for a couple of years. Can anyone recommend some cool restaurants with good views to check out? Something memorable with a good menu and ambience.

One is completely local. It is a great way to eat with the locals and the food is absolutely wonderful. The other is a very trendy place, that is very nice. It's a fusion/new asian place near the Bund, at Fuzhou Lu and Shandong Lu, top floor of the building. They have lounge, restaurant, roof terrace, and nightclub. Great cocktails, delicious and unique food. Views are panoramic of the river. Cost about 400rmb per person for one of the best meals you will have anywhere. Best to reserve ahead if you can.
