So you wanna simplify? You want to go travel, your moving, or you just want to start over creating a new style. How do you get rid of all your stuff short of chucking it all in the bin?

1. Sort through what you really need and box any important papers, photos or sentimental items. blush.gif

2. Go through each room one at a time and make two groups: Keep or Throw. Yes or No. Stay or Go. Whatever wording works for you. Now you may have to go through this process several times. You may want to space out the sessions because they can be very draining. sweat.gif cry.png

3. Once you have your To Go stuff, you can decide which items you may want to give to family or friends. Has your sister been eyeing that George Foreman Grill for years? You know your buddy would LOVE your DVD collection? Give them an early Christmas present. Trust me, it will feel good. And this way, if you have any major emotional attachments, you can go "visit" your item in its new home. baby.gif

4. To Sell: Place a "MOVING SALE" ad in the local newspaper. Be sure to include the words "Everything Must Go!" Place some signs around local bulletin boards advertising your sale. Flyer your nieghbourhood giving them an opportunity for early bird specials if they want to come before the actual sale. phone.png

5. To Give Away: Call your local charity organization. Post on a site like www.freecycle.org or Craigslist . Put stuff on your lawn with a sign saying "Take Me! I'm Free! Pay it Forward" angel.png

6. By now, you should be rid of most everything. Take the rest and find great pleasure in chucking it in the bin or burning it in the fire and being free at last! w00t.png
