I am trying to book a hotel for 3 nights in Madrid.
Friends suggested that I stay at an Etap hotel. I checked and it is in Rufino Gonzalez 19 street. (Metro Suanzes). -only 48 euros per night!

Please let me know if anyone knows if this hotel is centrally located, and HOW one can get there!

Did any one of TP members ever stayed in such a hotel? What was the experience?
I have to book within these days, and I am anxious to know more.

I will be there on the 19th August - 22 out.

Or do you suggest I look at another hotel more centrally?

It looks like it's pretty far away from the city centre, but if you are nearby a metro station, that shouldn't be a problem. I say book it!

I've stayed at Etap in Amsterdam and a couple of times in the UK. Its alright... bit weird sometimes - there is no bathroom, its just built into the bedroom. The toilet is a cupboard almost, the shower is see-through and the sink is just next to the bed.

I guess you get what you pay for!!
