Overnight a plane has crashed off the islands of the Coromos...150 on board...It has been stated that the islands do not have sea rescue capabilities which is hindering rescue!

Wow..that's terrible...nobody ever survives from those kinds of crashes...

to be honest I live in the region and I have never heard of Yemenia airlines...that in itself would make me wary of flying with them....I will update when more info comes available (because it is not getting as much media coverage as the Air France one in Brazil did for some reason)
