Hi there,

I will be backpacking in the Philippines from August 10th-September 18th (3 weeks) with two friends. We have decided Siargao is just the place for us for a week or so, but we're not sure where to go after that. We want to minimise internal travel, so preferably somewhere that is a boat, bus or cheap flight away.

We love snorkelling, good culture and food, beaches, walking and beach bars. We don't want big nightlife and won't be diving.

Any advice you could give would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you in advance.

Banaue rice terraces... food and accommodation in the cordillera mountain is cheap. Getting there from Siargao is not... but it is worth it.
