From Mobile, Alabama, to Owen Sound, Ontario, you can now cycle on a path over 2,000 kms long and trace the same route the American slaves running to freedom did.

I believe that bicycling is the best way to get to know an area. This path is especially intriguing, because the cyclists are so close to following in the footsteps of the slaves. You can literally put yourself in their footsteps and travel just like they did, experiencing history in a deeply personal way... wow... nice.
