Hello All,
I'm Rae and a newbie to TravelPod (well I mean this will be my first trip blogged here!).
I'm currently travelling from Land's End to John O'Groats in the UK, not I'm afraid in a spectacular fashion (no bike, hiking boots or roller skates) just buses, trains and taxis. But for me it really is a bit of an endurance test as I have HFA (high functioning autism) with dyspraxia (a sensory disorder) which in a nutshell means I functioning very well with a familiar routine but when I step outside of my comfort zones it tends to go a bit 'pear shaped'!
I'm not raising money just hopefully a little more awareness of the disorder in adults and maybe I will be able to encourage other adults with similar disorders to push the boundaries, test themselves and see that with a little encouragement we really can do anything.
I am a little behind with my blog (internet connection/full on chaos with missed connections etc) so I am currently in the Highlands of Scotland and about 3 days away from John O' Groats.
I hope I haven't waffled on too much/made a pigs ear of this introduction. It would be lovely if you read this and have the time, if you could pop over to my blog and leave a few words of encouragement! Believe me I need them - lol.
Happy travels, Rae xxx
