We are thinking of going in Santorini to see with our own eyes what a volcanic eruption can do. However, we do not know what else to do there. I heard that the locals organize ferry trips. Is that true? Is there anyone who has been there lately?

The cliffs will definitely look surreal from any point of view and the lagoon as well! Santorini is very well connected to the mainland and the other islands! You can choose the ferry, but they also put at your disposal hydrofoils and catamarans. Learn more at the spot from Port Athinios or ask the personnel from the hotel that you book for prices!

Hi there,
Santorini and the Nea Kameni and Thirasia Islands are known for the way sunsets look. You will literarily see how the sun sinks into the sea. This amazing view is available from almost any location in the entire area. I booked a hotel last year from RihlaPrime because they had a 69% discount (they have it now too) and I was amazed that I was able to see the sunset from my hotel room! I had just arrived so, I did not have time to go outside.

Sunset at Oia (point of the island) is beautiful! it's been many years since I have been there, but I would check out the black sandy beaches and the many tavernas of good food!

If you really look like your passport photo, you need the holiday!

"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover." - Mark Twain
