Hoop Snake

Mate, this is Australia, they smell the fear on you. They will be on the look out. Us Australians are brought up at a young age to respect the native wildlife

Be careful, but the link will help you in escaping their clutches

Glad you're enjoying yourself! devil.png

This whole thing will be a learning curve I think, and a chance to face a lot of fears unsure.gif

By the way, if you're kept awake one night cos' of some distant, ear-splitting shriek being emitted - that'll be me!

Oh, I am sure you will, but always check under the toilet seat for the old Red Back spider, and Funnel Webs do jump, but don't boil the cane toads in water and drink the juices. Yes, you might have a great trip, but who knows what else you will get up to

...and Roo's really do pack a serious punch don't they? I saw a NatGeo documentary once where this one roo took an instant dislike to some guy and seriously kicked his ass. I was gobsmacked. So was he!

Drop Bears extinct. I don't think so. They're a bit like the Tasmanian Tiger. They can sometimes be seen if you're hiking out in the Adelaide hills or the Blue Mountains.

Hey! Tasmanian Tigers do exist. I've seen footage of them. I find it hard to believe that there are none out there whatsover. There are still sightings.

I was walking down the street in Tasmania and I saw a weird looking dog, so I turned to my friend and said, "Is that a Tasmanian Tiger?". The dog owner turned round and scolded me and told me not to be so ridiculous. Obviously a touchy subject down in Tasmania. You crazy Australians.

Have you been practising your diving through a hula-hoop, just in case you meet a hoop snake ???

Good, but it is illegal to shoot our native wildlife. You will be locked up

Good point Lee, but I think 'critter karma' would get the better of me. I'd get away with it once I'm sure, but after that I'd have to sleep with one eye open.. ninja.gif
