Hi,

I am in Australia and when I create a new destination, the date box comes up in American Format (mm-dd-yyyy), but in Australia we have dd-mm-yyy. Generally most websites pick up the browsers special setting that tells the website what country the user (me) is in and adjusts it. Alternatively this should be geared to the "country" in preferences.

I am using an Apple Mac and Safari as my browser.

May be I have missed something?

That's a great suggestion. At present our numerical date formats do not adapt to the location of the user. I can see how this may be confusing on the Map as you are adding multiple entries, though the calendar feature should simplify the entry of dates. You'll also find that in the entry editor and on the published version of the entry itself, we write out the date fully so it is very clear.
We'll have a look at internationalizing the display of our dates. Thanks for the suggestion!
