Hi I am starting a blog for my family and I want to put up some of my backpacking trips for the kids to look at. The problem is they were over 20 years ago and have not got all the dates or memory for all the places. I was thinking I could scan in some old photos to download and just write a basic description of the trips the longest being 18months and the other 12months - hence heaps of detailed unrecalled.

What would the best way to do an unstructed blog with general dates etc not too specific. It seems when you enter in a destination city you must enter a date. Is this correct would appreciate your advice.

Hi,

What I suggest is that you create a blog and call it something like *My Trips in 1980* etc.... and enter each trip as a different entry within that blog for that year.... and so on and so on. As far as the date is concerned, pick January 1 of the year in question as the start date and December 31 as the end date.
