I wanted to be a doctor when I was little. I ended up being a research scientist for awhile, and now I'm going to teach English. Who knew?

I wanted to be a heart surgeon. I am currently a 911 emergency dispatcher. By comparison I'm not sure which would have been harder.

Now, after completing almost most of family responsibilities, I am thinking to do something for society.

What are you going to do for society?

Chemistry 101 kicked my butt my first year in college and I realized how much I hated science!! Made it tough to continue at that point...

Good luck with being a physiologist! I assume you like sports? It's never too late to be a wrestler... :-)

Yeah, Chemistry kicked me hard as well :-)

I wanted to be a teacher when I grew up; then I moved to the US and was not so confident in my English. I didn't want to stand up and teach and the kids go "huh? what?"... My parents wanted me to be an accountant just like my mom, I said OK and majored in Accounting. I finished it and worked in that field for 5 years after college. I survived but never liked it. So I decided to go back to school to change career, and now I'm in IT. Love it!

Congrats on not giving up and pursuing your dream!
