Hey guys!

Just wondering if anyone's had any experience going to the Sonepur Mela (Sonepur Fair) near Bihar?

Everything I've read about it on travel guides/books "encourage" visiting this fair, but information from real people (I mean via forums and not from published resource) say that Bihar is really dangerous, especially for lone female travellers, and that the fair is really nothing special.

Do any international travelers have any experience or advice... better yet does anyone want to meet up there?
