Hello everyone!

Im a new member of the forum. I'm colombian and right now I'm doing an internship in Cebu City, Philippines. I've been working all the time and I haven't had much time to get to know this wonderful place. The good news is that my boyfriend is coming to visit me and I will finally have some time and company to travel around.

This is the reason why I'm writing this message. I need to plan an itinerary and I have no idea where to start! I would like to start travelling in the Visayas and then go up to Luzon. But there are so many places to visit here in the Philippines that I don't know exactly how to organize the trip and We only have 2 weeks!

Can somebody give me any ideas or suggestions? Any comment (places to go, accomodation, food, special activities) will be a great help! I'M COMPLETELY LOST!!!

Thank you in advance!!!

Natalia

Hi Natalia, welcome welcome.

I moved your question to the Philippines section, so that more people who know about that area will find your question.

Until they do, have a look at some of the blogs from the Philippines for some inspiration:

Hi Natalia,
I don't know your budget but I'll give one example for your Visaya trip:
Once you arrive in Mactan Airport take a taxi to Moalboal/Panagsama Beach.
There are many Beach resorts, restaurants and bars. If your looking for a low budget accomodation start your vacation in the Moalboal Backpacker Lodge.
Near to our place is a nice white sandy beach. Just in front of the Backpacker Lodge enjoy our colorful coral reef.
If you need more adventure take a trip with Planet Action to gourgeous waterfalls and mountain tracks.

If you need more details please let me know.

Cheers,
Torsten

you mean to say you are already in cebu. begin in cebu then take negros and ilo-ilo. from cebu you can reach negros by plane in 45 minutes, or by bus for 6 or 7 hours. that's a hell of time.

from negros island you can hop to iloilo island by a ship thats less than an hour for a cheap fare... anywhere in visayas you can access a daily trip to manila (luzon)

I am planning my travel to the Philippines. I have study some blogs, and tourism sites and forums and I think that you need ad least 15 days for Luzon o same for Visayas.
¿Siargao? ¿Puerto Galera?
Un saludo, ah, me encantó Colombia.

You can try Bohol, Iloilo, then go up north to Vigan, Baguio and Tagaytay... these are lovely places.
