Hello there, I've read these forums so many times that I've learned a lot, but nothing beats a direct question so here I am.
Currently planning a 2 months trip in SEA, I was supposed to do this last year before a series of events in India (basically being in India) destroyed my RTW and forced me to head back home (with tickets booked all the way down to Australia and everything).
This time I'd like to have a smaller and more relaxed attempt of a trip, avoiding any kind of madness if you know what I mean.
I have two itineraries in mind so far:
the dates would be something like October 30-December 20 for the first, October 30 to November 30 for the second one;
1st: Arrival in Singapore for about a week, flying to Cambodia and visiting for another week, 2 weeks in Thailand, 2 weeks in Myanmar and a week in Hong Kong, flying home
2nd: 1 week each in Seoul, Hong Kong, Bangkok, Cambodia then flying back home, approximately 1 month overall.
Obviously trip 2 is quite more expensive due to the required connecting flights.
I've already been to Malaysia, Singapore, Nepal and India, so I'd like to visit other places.
What I'm interested into: eating local food, photography, history and architecture, landscapes (I sort of hate wild nature though, if it makes sense), in this order.
Travelling as a backpacker, solo.
Your opinions are very welcome!
