Hi,

I visited Sosua in the north coast in the Dominican Republic and I loved to this exciting place and other thing. It's not a bad drive, and rental cars are not too expensive, and you'll find dozens of beaches on the way where you can stop and grab some salt water on silky sand and of course you could enjoy the hotel Sosua Bay Beach Resort and other lodging i think to live in the exiting comunity about a few months.

Hmmm...I agree, it's slightly suspect
But...Sosua is a beautiful city by the beach and not as crowded by tourists as Punta Cana...though I still prefer Punta Cana

I think Louise mentioned the spamming because an actual hotel was named in the post.

Hi Hania

I also fell in love with Sosua. air_kiss.gif I learned that mingling with the local people you can learn a lot from their customs, I rent a condo or villa there for a few weeks each year. This time I`m staying for over a month overseeing some investments. Sosua is a hidden gem to most, same as neighboring Cabarete. Though most people visit to party, there are many that do it for true R&R.

I lived in the DR 85-87 near Jarabacoa. Sold everything here (USA) last week with the intention of going back to stay. Maybe Jarabacoa, maybe the north coast, maybe something entirely different. I'll save Sto Dgo for visits. Interested in months of renting before deciding on any purchase. Checked out lots of online sites for rentals, but am open for any good suggestions. Hasta la proxima.
