I understand that the stats page is very general and only a sample of the visitors to my blogs. I am basically wondering what the number of hits has to be before you start getting a visitor map. Is there a set minimum number or does it vary user to user?

It's not terribly important to me to have a map (I think I know where most of my regular visitors are from), but it would be nice to see something besides "Sorry, not enough visitors to have a map." xD

Hi,

The map needs to have one year of data before it gets filled out.

Hi,

We have a map on ours, and we've on'y had the blog/account for 3 months. We've had just over 1000 visitors, but a map (Visitors Trends) starting showing up after maybe 500 visitors I think. My question is we only seem to have visitors from Colombia...which is odd cause we don't know anyone from there, nor have we travelled there. As well, no other country shows up on the map, yet we know that people from our home countries have been following us... anyone know why?

I guess I'll just work on ignoring my map xD I have almost 1,000 visitors total, but haven't had it for a year, so we'll see next summer when a year has passed.

lob123: I have no idea what that's about. Sounds rather odd!
