Any advice for a potential weekend trip to Sweden?

Voyager Group: Members Posts: 80 Joined: 1-December 11 Member No.: 2430053 Nominate me as a Local Expert	Next fall I am planning on studying abroad in the Netherlands. The program I am in gives us three day weekends every week so we can travel. Sweden is a country I might potentially visit; however, I know nothing about it besides the name of the capital! I essentially would like to know what are the pros and cons of Stockholm, and what are some cheap/free attractions there since I will be on a VERY tight budget. Also, is Stockholm a city that can be well-appreciated in one weekend, more two days than three given travel time?
