Greetings to all -

I have never been to Europe, and am planning our Honeymoon in December to either Italy or Greece. The problem is that we only have 4 days.

I have been more inclined towards Italy, but there's so much there that I can't decide what will be the best to see/do in 4 days.

Would Greece be a better option than Italy? (I haven't been to either place). If not, should we go to Rome or Venice or Florence or Pisa?

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks!

I agree with Paroshep, don't try and tackle more than one city in Italy in four days.

You MIGHT be able to jam Florence and Pisa together, but I favour all the art and old stuff in Rome and the Vatican myself.

One question: It's your honeymoon, so do you want to relax and take it easy? Rome might not be a good choice for relaxing.

Hi All - Thanks for your responses!! smile.gif

So the Honeymoon never happened, since we ran out of vacation time. So now we are planning Europe in June-end/July beginning for about 10-12 days.

I am debating between the two options:

1. Fly into Amsterdam, go to Belgium, Paris, and Switzerland.

2. Fly into Vienna, off to Italy and then Greece (Athens and Santorini).

- We are not history-lovers, so we probably won't see every single historic place. I think we like more of garden and scenic beauty. From what I have read all of Europe is picturesque. Not sure which countries would be of the most interest for us.. So confused!!

Are either one of these do-able? Again, it's easier to plan it out on a piece of paper, but since I have never been to either of these places, I have no clue if it's even practical to plan all these places in 1 trip.

All suggestions weclome smile.gif

Again, thanks for your response/time.

PT.
