We just completed a 12,000 mi overland expedition from Texas to Argentina via the Pan American Highway!

In July, 2011 we met in McAllen, Texas with the TrekoftheAmericas' Expedition. Here we checked all the mechanical aspects of the vehicle and verified the international paperwork. This was two days of pre-departure preparation. This was the hottest place of the whole trip, including the tropics of South America!

On day three we were off! Crossing into Mexico and doing the border paperwork at the customs station of Reynosa, Tamps., Mexico. The total process was completed within one hour. We then used the Road Log (adventuretrek.com) supplied with our trip to guide us southward. Also the GPS readings were useful.

I will be posting more here, and also on the travel blog on Travelpod. The additional information is still being added, it has been about a week or so and its probably about 80% done. Upon finishing there will be more photos added to each location.

I have encountered a bit of a problem with the wow presentation, it does not show all the photos when viewed - I have asked about it but no received a solution as of yet...thanks so much for being patient!!!
