I wonder if anyone can please give me some information on the Perhentian Islands in Malaysia?

I have been lucky enough to of travelled nearly all over S.E Asia. I have only been to Langkawi in Malaysia and have heard a lot about The Perhentian Islands.

I plan to go end March/beg April for two weeks. I am trying to find out if it is the rainy season. The islands are situated on the East Coast and as far as I can see the rainy season is Dec-Feb.. although, from my expereience, the rainy season can kick in anytime.

I plan to fly to K.L and get an internal flight to Kota Bharu. From there I think I get a taxi and then a jetty from Besut where I will get the Jetty.

I would be interested to know if anyone has been to The Perhenthian Islands, if so which Island did you prefer as I believe there are two Islands. I am aged 38 but, I do like to relax and a few drinks and socialising every now and then so hopefully these Islands will aloow me to relax and socialise with others.

Also, I like to Island Hop on a fishermans boat, is this possible?

Any information would be much apreciated.
