Hi there,

I'm considering a local train journey from North Africa to West Africa. I've travelled through Eastern and Southern Africa though not by train.
1) Is this form of travel possible? (understanding of course that local train schedules may be sporadic)
2) What's the best way to tackle this? Rock up and book as we go?
3) Safety - May be travelling as a single female or 2 females... is it safe to do so?

Thanks so much!
