Cool, thanks both of you speak_cool.gif

It's really close to where my boyfriend lives from your descriptions - I may well have unknowingly walked past it, lol frantics.gif

ok oxford street just kind of sucks. although, i do think primark is an amazing/crazy/strangely multicultural experience. so if you like getting a bargain, it could make the top 10.

camden may have gone downhill but it's still a great place for some people like my parents who simply couldn't get enough of people watching.

otherwise, borough market has got to be on that list. i discovered it about a week before i left london after living there for 4 months and it's one of my favorite spots. plus, it's cheap and everywhere gives free samples.

did anyone say buckingham yet? it's kind of stupid but it is a MUST.

and maybe i'm a bit biased as i worked in a pub in holborn but this area really feels like old london-ish. it's full of business types but there are tons of hidden green spaces. temple bar is near by.

oh and speaking of holborn, the sir john soane's museum should be in your top 10. it's located in lincoln inn fields and is a house museum. it's a bit hard to explain but it certainly has something for everyone. you don't need to be an art, history lover...etc. it's free, kooky, and there's really good kebab places right down the street and you can picnic in the lincoln inn fields.
