If that girl was there I would go! drool.gif

I remember walking down a street in Hiroshima and it was full of hostess bars. There were about 100 gorgeous women standing around trying to get guys inside the bars. Whatever was at the top of the menu was 237,000yen! Over 1000!

I walked down that street a couple of times.........

I need to go back to Japan biggrin.gif

This reminds me of the book Norwegian Wood... I think it came across as quite sad to me... great book though!

*offtopic*

Ohhhhhhh Haruki Murakami, one of my favourites! He did a great job on Wind Up Bird Chronicle I thought... long book but worth it.

Nothing about hostess bars in there though.

I have to admit that I think I ended up in a club like this in Tokyo..... There were a hell of a lot of women in there.

Edit: Actually I just read up on the place I went and it just seems it was a proper meat market on ladies night smile.gif

These people are just sooo tuned! 5am? Good time to get the truth out of people!

Why do guys go to any 'clubs' like this? To fill the void is right. Plus, Japanese women are pretty famous for being very beautiful.

That's why people pay hookers too.

I may be a little naive here, but what exactly goes on in a hostess bar....is it just like a strip club or are other services offered...

I wonder what the adultery rate is in Japan and how it compares to the rest of the world?

Rich? What are you talking about?

That's a good question Rani, I have no idea what exactly goes on in those clubs either... someone's gotta know.

In the documentary, the guy points to the crow and says he named him Jacob!
