Hello adventurers,

I am planning a 3 weeks trip to SE with a friend for october. The choice is so great that we still didn't manage to make a decision. So now, we got stucked btw 2 options> 1) Laos/Vientam, 2) Indonesia.

So we are people that are looking for an authentic experience, interested in culture, history and nature. Casual travelling, not looking for luxus, not necesary for nightlife (although we would like to have fun from time to time!), running away from big cities (we leave in NY), beach is nice, but too much of it wouldn't be desirable. So we are looking for a trip that offers us the perfect combination of nature and culture , wild nature and interesting cities, mountains and beaches, and above all an amazing personal experience. Not really looking for just for tourist things, although sometimes that can be also nice.

So, based on this description and with 3 weeks of time, what option would you recommend us to do???

thanks!!

regina
