My husband and I just got back from a week long vacation in the Southeast region of the United States and I tell you, I had the worst time on this vacation. We stayed in this beautiful resort complex with gates and security and everything. But it was the annoying, screaming children around the beach that made it a horrible experience for my husband and I. We have 2 grown children, and this was our chance to take time for ourselves, and we decided to go to this exclusive resort near Charleston and, yes kids can be cute and wonderful, but the parents were letting them run around like crazy hulligans. The children were leaving leaving their stuff all around the pool, I barely missed sitting on a sand shovel! This was just our chance to be away from the kids and truly relax in a tropical setting. But now I am re-thinking my visit and thinking about coming back to this resort in the winter.
