Hi,
I am visiting Gili Trawangan with my wife and son (15 years old). We are not the boozing partying kind. We love snorkeling, beach walk, serene peace atmosphere.

Are the beaches clean?
I heard that a few beaches smell of dead fish? Is this true?
Any shacks on beaches that we can hire for changing etc?

Hi Pinesh!

It's a month since you posted this question, so this reply is probably too late (you didn't mention when you were going). I hope you opted for one of the other islands, eg. Gili Air, which would satisfy your needs and has good snorkelling (we saw turtles every day)! If not, I hope you enjoyed Gili T, where the beaches are clean, but there are no beach shacks for changing!
