In a country where lots of things are bought strictly with cash, make sure you prepare... You have to do it in more than one transaction which sucks and on occasion i can take out as much as 640 pesos. I've been here almost two years and things fluctuate in this sense. but you can always find a way. Anyway, he tried to tell me my notes weren't valid and I had to pay him in dollars?! I had this happen to me before, so I told him I didn't agree and I wanted to get out. When I went back in the bus station they confirmed it was a scam.
