I like the ice flowers, but had to vote for the lakes in Peru just because of the perspective and the sunrays.

Goodness, what hard decisions you load onto us innocent travelpoders! The Peru photo is spectacular, but I feel too much light got in over the mountains. The "Dunes" photo is also spectacular in clarity and colour. In the end I had to toss for it, and Dunes got "heads".

The Peru shot is definitely nice but it doesn't do it for me because I can't "feel" the 360 degree view, the cool dampness and breeze against my skin, nor hear the animal sounds or nothingness which I know one experiences in those settings. So such scenery shots are never as good for me as actually being there.

So on that note, I am gonna go against the current grain (for the most part) and cast my stone for those frozen flowers!

It's ice flowers for me. I like the landscape but I agree about there being too much light for me - does look beautiful though.

I like ice flowers because I see different shapes in there - there's a three toed paw print in the background and then the ones in front look like little hovering fairies - kind of abstract I know! Apparently I've got my arty head on smile.gif

Peru seems amazing, from the photos I've seen so far.

I once saw those sunrays on an aeroplane. Can't believe it's true.

Wow, dunes is winning. That's surprising to me! I can't see how anyone wouldn't vote for the Peru picture!

Well the people want what they want.
Still, after looking again, I just like the Peru lakes. I especially like the folks being in the shot; it makes it easier to imagine being there!

The Dunes, The Dunes, The Dunes...I love the Dunes!

Awesome colour, love the sand...its like I'm really there.
Thankgawd I'm not...no beach to get rid of the damn sand in my shorts.
So I think I'll go for the flutterby butterfly...just jokin mate...its The Dunes for me.

This really is hard to say which one is the best..
I love close up shots from animals, so I think the butterfly is pretty cool but not spectecular, Peru looks amazing but a lil too bright for me, even though I bet it was an awesome view up there, so I guess I choose the Dunes too!
