A tricky question. Five days in Barcelona is just enough to scratch the surface. There is so much to do, however if you're determined to reach the Pyrenees and why wouldn't you be, then it's easily achievable.
In March there will still be lots of snow, so if driving you would need to get local road conditions, but I imagine those roads into, say Andorra will be cleared.
By public transport, Vall de Nuria is perhaps your best option. You can get the train and link to the mountain tram to get up to 2000m - I'm pretty certain that with some commitment and an early start you can do a round trip from Barcelona in a day.
