We(myself and husband) are wanting to see the sights of Cambodia and Laos and will be travelling from Australia. While both being quite addicted to the comfort of western toilets are we going to be severely disappointed when travelling overland by bus or car. We notice that some seniors do hire cars to travel long distances...Are they able to access western toilets on the way??? Hopefully someone can share their experience with us...

Hello,
Depending of the definition of "western toilet"
If it is like this one: here photo, you will be able to stop anywhere, small restaurant, petrol station etc...

If you are looking exclusively for this one: here photo, you will have to stop in upper class restaurant and hotel.
In all gueshouse and hotel with private attached bathroom, you will find this one too.

Have a good trip
