Hello! i'm traveling to Panama City from San Jose Costa Rica, I heard that the trip is long so i was wondering where can I stay at Paso Canoa, considering it as a half way to complete my trip to Panama City

it is pretty safe there are lots of ok cheap hotels just exercise common sense

there is a lot of good shopping here i would suggest stocking up on essential stuff b/c when you get to SJ you will be hit w/sticker shock

City Mall is a large modern clean store that carries everything kind of like a Walmart Super Store

dont let anyone scam you into paying to have your passport stamped

it is easy and free stamp out of Panama walk up the street and stamp into CR

if you get there after hours no biggie just do it in the morning

there really is not a whole lot to do there but for 1 night its ok but like i said the shopping is very good
