Hi Travelers, a question for you. Me and my wife are planning a trip from Singapore to Bangkok (Via KL and Langkawi) by train. We are stuck at Langkawi, if we check the time table we arrive with train 20 around 07:00AM near Alor Setar or Arau, which would be fine for the ferry to the Island, but on the way back we would not make it in time for train 20. We dont feel much for taking train 36 though as this one has no 1st class sleepers.

Anyone done this before, any tips on how to make this itinerary work, or tips for alternatives
