Back in February this year my girlfriend and I visited New Zealand for the holiday of a lifetime and have been enchanted by it ever since.

As a way of remembering our time there I've set up a blog which details and follows our 22 day journey across NZ. I've tried to be as honest as I can about places we've stayed and things we've seen and there should be links to just about everything we did so that other travellers can get the info they're after quickly without having to do the months of preperation that we had to do. Currently I'm about 11 days in.

Check it out if you like, and please feel free to leave comments, suggestions and ask questions.

If nothing else there are a few nice pictures to look at.

Hope you find it useful.

The Banks Peninsula is one of my most memorable places, especially Okains Bay. Glad you did it. Isn't it beautiful? I had an amazing Dolphin Encounter there last year which I'll never forget.

Excellent blog by the way!

Hi Scott,

Just read about your dolphin encounter, it sounded truly amazing. We did the Dolphin Encounter experience in Kaikoura (as I'm sure everybody does), and as incredible as that was it pales in comparison to what you experienced - a dolphin finding you and not only that it hung around for a better look!

Those are the memories that stay with us.

Glad you liked the blog.

Hi Shaune,

They certainly are! Though why it came back for a second look is completely beyond me - my skinny little legs underwater are hardly a feast for the eyes. Dolphins are just inquisitive and playful, I guess it was just my lucky day!

Where you headed next?

Thanks, that's nice of you to say so. There will be another installment this weekend, each post is quite long so it takes a week for me to get the time to complete a post.

I'll leave a message here when it's up, or feel free to latch onto the feed.
