Hi

Going to Manila next week but confused about which currency I need to take.

Sure I read somewhere that nearly everybody accepts US$...however just read another site that says only Philippine Peso is used.

Now I'm very confused!

Any help appreciated.

You can only use Philippines peso. Whatever currency you have can be exchange in any reputable bank in the Philippines. You can also use master/visa card in any department stores or big grocery stores.

Yeh...travel agent advised Peso as the definite used currency.
So got some today.
I think what had confused me was that all ''business'' is transacted in US$...but I think that applies to imports / exports and trade between companies.
